Infosys Earns a Five Percent Net Profit for First Quarter

‘Infosys’ is India’s second largest information technology and software engineering and business consulting provider. As of now, the multinational company is earning a handsome revenue indeed.

Apparently, the company has even beaten its rival ‘Tata Consultancy Services’. The company didn’t really do that well in the previous year. The vice president of ‘Gartner’, an American information technology company, Sandra Notardonato, said,

“For Infosys specifically, they executed poorly in Q4 and some of that poor execution has been reversed this quarter.”

On the other hand, the CEO of Infosys, Vishal Sikka said,

“I am very pleased with our performance in the first quarter. Our efforts in redesigning our clients’ experience and our widespread adoption of innovation, both in grassroots and breakthroughs, are starting to bear fruit in large deal wins and in the growth of large clients. While we are still early in our journey to become the leading next-generation services company, this gives us good momentum for the rest of the year.”

The company has a consolidated profit for the first quarter of approximately $455 billion which was up 5% in the net profit. Hopefully, other companies use this as an example to do just as well in this tough climate.
