Krispy Kreme Celebrates 78th Anniversary

Chain restaurants and stores usually have fabulous ways of commemorating occasions and anniversaries. Free meals, discounts, goodies and so many other incentives to reward loyal customers are given away.

On the 13th of July, Krispy Kreme will be celebrating its 78th anniversary. The store that started in North Carolina in 1937 by Vernon Rudolph has been serving sweet round pastries for more than seven decades now.

On Monday, when a customer will purchase a dozen glazed donuts, they will be entitled to receive a dozen more for just 78 cents. This is a bargain indeed for a donut lover.

If freebies make one happy, then Krispy Kreme is not the only chain that will bring joy. Even Seven Eleven will be giving out free Slurpies on the 7th of July to commemorate the date embedded in the name of the store.

After all of these sugary free goodies, hopefully gymnasiums across the country give out a discount on annual membership or something like that.
