On Tuesday, Elon Musk’s X social networking platform filed a lawsuit against a worldwide advertising alliance and other large corporations, including Mars and CVS Health, alleging that they had conspired illegally to boycott the platform and cause it to incur financial losses.
The World Federation of Advertisers, Unilever Mars, CVS Health and Danish renewable energy business Orsted were all named in the case that X filed in a federal court in Texas.

X, formerly known as Twitter, was accused in the case of having “billions of dollars in advertising revenue” collectively withheld by advertisers under a World Federation of Advertisers program known as Global Alliance for Responsible Media.
They were accused of violating U.S. antitrust laws by conspiring against the platform, which went against their own economic interests.
When contacted for comment, neither CVS Health nor the World Federation of Advertisers nor Unilever nor Mars responded promptly. On Wednesday, Orsted chose not to comment.
