On Thursday, Julius Baer (BAER.S), a Zurich-based private bank, named Chin Lit Yee its new South East Asia chief.
The announcement says that Kevin Tay will replace Yee as the South East Asia group leader on Thursday.
Yee has 30 years of experience in money management. Thursday announced that he worked at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and J.P. Morgan before joining Julius Baer in 2015.
Tay, a seasoned banker who most recently headed wealth planning and family office services in Singapore, will replace Yee and report to him.
Julius Baer is focusing on Asia, its second home market, with the appointments. The bank says two of its seven booking centers are in Singapore and Hong Kong, employing 24% of its personnel.
Julius Baer appointed Yee Kim Tan Singapore branch manager.
