BYD’s sole agent announced on Wednesday that two showrooms and a service center in Hong Kong have reopened after being vandalized earlier this week.

BYD’s Hong Kong sole agent JC Motor Ltd said restoration work on another showroom in Yuen Long, New Territories, would be finished by the end of the week.

“The incidents have been reported to the police, and we will cooperate with the investigation and await the police conclusion,” JC Motor warned.

It noted that its showrooms in Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island, Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon, and its service center in Tin Shui Wai in the New Territories had resumed normal operations.

JC Motor didn’t immediately react to Reuters’ vandalism inquiry.

Two BYD shops and a service center in Hong Kong were vandalized with red paint, and a car crashed into the roller shutter of its Yuen Long showroom early Monday, police said to Reuters.

They said the event was under investigation.
