The Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, also a soccer jinx, is being blamed by Brazilians for the country’s biggest World Cup loss on Tuesday, July 8.

Brazil is looking for anyone to blame for the 7-1 loss in the semi-final game against Germany, and Jagger was spotted in the crowd. Jagger is not only famous for his music, but also his soccer curse that any team he supports will lose a game.

According to USA Today Sports, the legend of Jagger all started in the 2010 World Cup. During an England match against South Africa, he wore an England scarf to support his home country team. It turned out to be an England loss. Of course, one game would not make the legend. Jagger then was spotted sitting next to former President Bill Clinton at a United States-Ghana game, in which U.S. was defeated. The last story of the World Cup curse happened in a Brazil-Netherlands match. Jagger wore a Brazilian jersey at the game and, as predicted, Brazil suffered a loss.

Time reported Brazilians were worried about Jagger’s curse, so they nicknamed him “Pé Frio,” which means someone who brings bad luck.

Soccer fans were hoping the singer would not do too much harm to the World Cup this year because the Rolling Stones was on tour. However, the soccer jinx would not be easily stopped by a tour. At a Saturday concert in Rome, Jagger said to the audience that Italy would win the match against Uruguay. It turned out Italy lost 1-0 on Tuesday, June 24.

In addition, Jagger also predicted that Portugal would win the World Cup championship this year at a Lisbon show in May. Portugal was almost eliminated after losing its first two group games.

The singer also supported his home team England by tweeting a support message on June 19. ”Let’s go England! This is the one to win!!,” he wrote. Again, the curse worked its magic and England lost.
