Erica Cohen, Founder of Independent Writer and Editor located in the United States. She is a top-notch writer, editor, and ghostwriter with more than 20 years of experience. The company offers all services, from writing blogs and articles.

Most of the time, she dwells in the financial industry. One of the top companies ever worked with is Business NH Magazine. Currently, Eric Cohen feels like the education system should be transformed to assist children from all backgrounds. She is a philanthropist who has worked in various foundations to better the lives of young children.

I am a proud alumnus of Bates College, where I secured a degree in business administration. After two years, my parents suggested I go back to school for master’s. So I joined Northwestern University to study journalism. In 2001, I was in the world, trying to explore where my passion lies.

I got an offer from The Keene Sentinel as a news reporter. For the two years I stayed with the company, I gained more experience. Thanks to my seniors who supported my career. In 2005, I joined The Eagle-Tribune as a statehouse reporter. Each day, I would write four stories about the statehouse.

Multitasking

Blue Cross Shield Foundation absorbed me within a few months. I only accepted a two-month contract as a healthcare reporter. The company holds a fellowship that selects 11 people countrywide to help the media industry. All journalism is welcome to watch how the system works and deal with mental health issues. They linked me to Millyard Communications, where I served as an associate editor.

I worked with the company for more than 11 years, from 2007 – to 2016. My main job was managing the flow and ensuring the magazine was published within the recommended time.
In 2017, I decided to set up my own Independent Writer and Editor company. I felt good because it was part of my dreams. Its headquarters are located in Hampshire. The company is running well, and we hope to expand it.

In 2019, during the pandemic, I decided to join NEXT Charter School as a board member. Many activities were taking place virtually, so it was very easy. At the same time, I worked as a chairperson of Derry School Board, the largest school in Hampshire.

The University of New Hampshire approached my brand, and I became an adjunct faculty as a part-time worker in Manchester. I was the co-writer of the technology media category for all the undergraduate students. I still hold the position even at this moment.

Love for writing

Currently, I spend most of my time as an Independent Writer and Editor, offering quality service to clients. In addition, I dedicate my time to ghostwriting books, website content, and articles. I have diverse knowledge in various niches like technology, business, and healthcare industries.

To a younger Erica Cohen, always work smart and perform your duties when given an opportunity. Finding your passion while still young might be helpful, especially to your mental health. We only work in an environment that does cause burnout.

I give motivational speeches to different organizations, schools, or any meetings. Throughout the pandemic, we fought hard to ensure that all the students were a complete mask to reduce the spread of covid-19. I like the way you can talk to kids, and they listen. That is one of the reasons I accepted those school jobs.

Interacting with kids from different backgrounds gives you an idea of what you could write about. Students are my great source of information. I feel the national government should add another budget to support all students. Some of them are struggling to make it to school. But if we come together, we can change the situation. I believe in unity.
