The White House said Monday that Russia and Iran are expanding an unprecedented defense relationship that will help Moscow prolong its war in Ukraine and threaten Iran’s neighbors.

In August, Iran sent Russia over 400 one-way attack drones, national security adviser John Kirby claimed.
Kirby told reporters, “This is about a burgeoning defense relationship” that allows Russia to kill more Ukrainians and Iran to stockpile military assets and threaten its neighbors.

He stated Iran is mostly helping Russia get powerful drones.

Kirby said the US would announce more designations targeting Russia-Iran military cooperation.
