Nvidia (NVDA.O), Amazon (AMZN.O) and Microsoft (MSFT.O) are in talks to invest up to $60 billion in OpenAI, according to a report by The Information on Wednesday.

Nvidia, which is already an investor in the company, is in talks to invest up to $30 billion, according to the report.

Microsoft, which has long backed the company, is in talks to invest less than $10 billion, according to the report.

Amazon, which is a new investor, is in talks to invest much more than $10 billion, possibly even more than $20 billion, according to the report.

OpenAI is close to getting term sheets, which is an investment commitment, from the companies, according to the report.

Amazon and Microsoft did not comment on the matter, while Nvidia and OpenAI did not respond to the Reuters request for comment outside regular business hours.

Reuters could not verify the information.

Amazon’s investment in OpenAI is subject to other negotiations, which include the expansion of the cloud server rental deal between the two companies and the sale of OpenAI products to Amazon, such as the sale of its ChatGPT service to the company, according to the report.

This comes on the heels of reports earlier this week that SoftBank Group (9984.T) is in talks to invest as much as $30 billion into OpenAI.
