Paramount Skydance has unveiled the executive team that will lead the combined company following its expected acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery.

The new company will operate under the Skydance name and use a co-CEO structure that pairs creative leadership with a more operations-focused executive as the company prepares to oversee its expanded Hollywood business.

David Ellison will remain chairman and chief executive officer, responsible for the company’s long-term strategy and creative direction. Ynon Kreiz, who stepped down as Mattel’s CEO last week, will serve alongside Ellison as co-CEO and oversee the company’s day-to-day operations.

The leadership team will also include Andy Gordon as president, while Dennis Cinelli will remain chief financial officer.

A New Structure for a Hollywood Giant

The leadership appointments come as Paramount Skydance prepares to complete its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, creating one of the largest entertainment companies in Hollywood.

The co-CEO arrangement is designed to divide responsibilities between Ellison’s focus on creative strategy and Kreiz’s operational experience. The combined business will bring together major film and television assets under the Skydance name.

The transaction is expected to close Tuesday, marking the next stage in Paramount Skydance’s transformation following its combination with Skydance.

The new leadership structure will be tasked with managing the enlarged company as it integrates its businesses and establishes a strategy for its expanded portfolio of entertainment assets.
