On Monday, 26-06-2023, Denmark’s Danske Bank said that Infosys (INFY.NS), India’s second-largest IT services provider, will accelerate its digital transformation.

Infosys said the five-year, $454 million deal can be renewed thrice.

“This is backed by significant investments in digitalisation and technology, including plans to further develop our customer-facing digital solutions, and modernising our technology infrastructure to enable even better customer experiences and drive operational efficiency,” said Danske Bank chief operating officer Frans Woelders.

The lender serves people, businesses, and major institutions.

Infosys will expedite Danske’s technological transition. The IT giant will also buy Danske Bank’s 1,400-person Indian IT center.
