Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE) concluded a fourth and final phase of technological integration with Postbank on Monday.
The largest German bank stated it would save 300 million euros ($326.52 million) annually from 2025.
During the global financial crisis, Germany’s largest bank began acquiring Postbank, with millions of customers and origins in the postal system.
As the bank merged its IT infrastructure with Postbank clients, some customers couldn’t use all services over the weekend.
Deutsche will start decommissioning Postbank hardware and software, saving money.
