Germany’s energy and economics ministry said Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck had unexpectedly visited Ukraine.
Rebuilding Ukraine, which Russia invaded in February 2022, and energy cooperation is on the table, Spiegel stated.
According to a ministry official, Habeck, the energy and economics minister, arrived in Kyiv early Monday.
Due to security concerns, the representative did not elaborate.
Germany has been one of Ukraine’s main military supporters, lately supplying 18 Leopard 2 combat tanks among the West’s most powerful armaments.
Russia has frequently bombed Ukraine’s energy industry, leaving millions without electricity.
