iPhone Pre Order Sale Beat a New Record

The orders in the first 24hrs for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were in the neighborhood of 4 million.

With this record breaking sale, the Cupertino based company beat its own record of the predecessor, the iPhone 5, which sold 2 million in the first 24 hours of the pre-order sale back in 2012.

The stores page was experiencing some difficulties because of the high volume of visits.

The pre-sale orders will be delivered by this Friday, but unfortunately,  its said that many will not be delivered until October because the significant number of orders.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus will start being sold in stores on September 19 at 8am.  This also includes AT&T Inc, Sprint Corp, T-Mobile US Inc and Verizon Wireless and other authorized resellers. The countries which the new iPhone will be on sale on that date will include U.S., Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK. On September 26 the phone will be available in all other countries.

If you are not interested in buying the new iPhone and you have an iPhone 4s or above, you can download the IOS 8 on September 17.
