According to plant operators, Exxon Mobil Corp.’s (XOM.N) 564,440-bpd Baytown, Texas, refinery’s reformer fire was rapidly doused on Wednesday.

Sources say the 65,000-bpd Hydroformer 4 fire was extinguished minutes after it started on Wednesday afternoon. Nobody was hurt.

Exxon spokesman Lauren Kight said the corporation does not discuss refinery unit condition.

“We’re meeting our contractual commitments,” Kight remarked.
