Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown established the American camera and social media firm Snap Inc. on September 16, 2011, with its headquarters in Santa Monica, California. The business created and maintains technical goods and services, including Bitmoji, Spectacles, and Snapchat.

Snap Inc. (SNAP.N), which controls Snapchat, announced on Monday that it is launching a chatbot powered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology to join the generative AI market.

In a blog post, Snap announced Snapchat+ subscribers might use My AI, its chatbot.

Techies love ChatGPT, which writes writing in response to stimuli. Microsoft and Google launched AI chatbots in February.

Snap claimed her AI was designed to have a humorous tone and provide unique ideas like birthday presents or poems about a topic.

The chatbot is “prone to delusion,” according to the blog post from the Santa Monica, California-based business. Users should not rely on the chatbot for guidance.
