After lowering costs six times this year until mid-April, Tesla Inc. (TSLA.O) boosted US pricing for the second time in two weeks, according to its website.
Tesla’s website shows a $250 price increase for its Model Y and Model 3 variations.
The Tesla Model Y now starts at $47,240, while the Long-Range crossover and Performance variants cost $50,240 and $54,240, respectively.
The performance Model 3 costs $53,240, while the base model costs $40,240.
Since January, Tesla has slashed prices worldwide, including in the US, to boost sales of its mass-market Model Y crossover and Model 3 sedan.
In a sluggish economy, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said last month that sales growth would take precedence above profit. Tesla’s first U.S. price raise followed.
