On Wednesday in the US, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated Poland wants to be Europe’s Abrams tank service center.

“I want a Polish Abrams tank servicing center for Europe to ensure war readiness. “This is possible; I am in talks regarding this…,” Morawiecki told a Polish public television press conference in Anniston, Alabama.

“We want Poland to make Abrams depleted uranium ammunition cores.”

Poland, a NATO partner of the US, bought 250 advanced Abrams combat tanks and 116 modernized ones.

He claimed, “…I have confirmation that by June at the latest 14 Abrams tanks will be delivered to Poland…” to replace Soviet-era tanks his nation had supplied to Ukraine to resist Russia’s incursion.
