Robert Neuner is the founder and CEO at Boost Oxygen, a company that manufactures recreational oxygen to great markets. The company has been in operation for almost 14 years.

Robert is an alumnus of Wiliams College, where he studied political science. After graduation in 1989, he moved directly to Fordem Gabelli School of Business to undertake an MBA in international finance. Through the institution, he learned a lot from other people’s projects. Since childhood, he yearned to become an entrepreneur, so he was always chasing the dream.

Recently, I met a stranger who told me that Boost Oxygen is a new company. Most people don’t realize that I launched it in 2007. We have experienced positive growth.

Every year, there is an increase in revenue, which is the main goal of any business. In 2019, our company went viral after the Shark Tank show on season 12. As a result, many people are now learning the importance of having supplementary oxygen when traversing in critical areas.

Let me take you back before Boost Oxygen. After school, I joined various industries as an employee because I didn’t have the capital to set up my company. But along, I was walking with multiple ideas my idea. Moreover, I was a very busy businessman in the Czech Replica, where I imported beer. Finally, it reached a time when I decided to quit my business.

It happened that we were having a conversation with a friend whom I told about making oxygen cans to help truck drivers stay alert on the road. He also mentioned the cans helping people in jet lag. Then, I made a flashback in high school; supplementary oxygen was on the sidelines whenever we played football.

I wondered why players were not given oxygen while in the field. Later, I realized I could put the oxygen in the can and help people enjoy the gas. It would become portable for everyone. I did a lot of research, and finally, I decided that was the business am going to do.

Within the same year I sold my business, I invested the capital and launched Boost Oxygen in the US. My first customers were football players with whom I tested my products, and my product was well received. One of our biggest sales was from Colorado stores. I traveled to the stores to talk physically with the product manager and marketing department. They were very frank with us. The marketing manager said that many people around Colorado were suffering from hypoxia because of high altitude conditions. So, they consumed a lot of oxygen to survive the harsh climatic condition.

So, I came back to maximize the production per day. We supplied more cans in Colorado. That’s how we managed to get a large audience in that states. Our main focus is to help people who experience shortness of breath, hypoxia, and anyone who needs the gas.

There was a time my company became popular in the Rocky Mountain. That gave me a hint about the future of the business. However, I needed to get a hand that could support my business. So I decided to collaborate with more retailers in various states. In 2012, the Sports Authority made it clear that they could carry cans of supplementary oxygen in every game. They also legalized my product as a viable item. I made deals with popular retailers like Walmart, Amazon, CVS, and Walgreens. It led to exponential growth.

Daily we are working to improve my company. I have a board of qualified staff that ensures everything is in order, even without my presence. Through Shark Tank, I made a deal that supported my capital. Kevin O’Leary released a million-dollar in exchange for some shares.

A year later, during the covid-19, we set up a Learning institution online to teach people about wellness and health conditions. We want to impact society through various activities apart from Boost Oxygen positively.

We were the only player in the market for almost a decade, but currently, there is stiff competition. However, we have been the first choice for many people because of our consistency in the game. Any entrepreneur must have a positive mindset, even during difficult moments.

To a younger Robert Neuner, stay focused and work towards becoming your boss.
