Michael Kors

Michael Kors has become synonymous with fashion and luxury. Known in relevant circles for years, Michael Kors is a brand with high standards. That’s why we’re expecting big things from Cathy Marie, the new Senior Vice President of Global Operations. The luxury brand just announced Marie will be taking over the position with 24 years of experience in the industry. Her last position was with Toys R US as operator of global supply chain management. Before that Marie was the Senior Vice President, Supply, Logistics and Customer Experience at The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P).

John D. Idol, Michael Kors CEO, said “We are pleased that Marie will be joining our executive team. Her significant experience managing global supply chain operations for large retail distribution networks…will be instrumental to us as we develop a world-class distribution network to meet the growing demand for our brand.”

This higher will do good things for Michael Kors, just don’t expect to see a difference in the products. Her expertise will allow Michael Kors to operate more efficiently. It’s what Marie has spent a quarter of a century doing. With operations stretching around the world this truly is a 24 hour job and there are few who are more qualified for the position than Marie. She got a big job to do but we’re certain she’s up to the task.
