From Nomination to Victory: A Roundup of SAG Award 2024
The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, held in Los Angeles, celebrated outstanding performances in TV and film. In television categories, Steven Yeun won the Best Actor in a TV Movie or Limited Series award for “Beef,” and Ali Wong was awarded Best Actress in the same category. Pedro Pascal secured the Best Actor in a Drama Series award for “The Last of Us,” while Elizabeth Debicki won Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role in “The Crown.”
Jeremy Allen White won Best Actor in a Comedy Series for “The Bear,” and Ayo Edebiri was awarded Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in the same show. “Succession” received the Best Ensemble Cast in a Drama Series award, and “The Bear” was honored with the Best Ensemble Cast in a Comedy Series award.
The stunt ensemble in a TV series was recognized in “The Last of Us,” competing against “Ahsoka,” “Barry,” “Beef,” and “The Mandalorian.”
