Google announced on Monday that it had finished building its data center and cloud facilities in Singapore, a Southeast Asian nation where the tech giant had previously invested $5 billion.
Apparently, more than 500 people work at the company’s data centers in Singapore, which is where services like Google Search and Maps get their power.
Just last week, Google made an announcement about its first data center in Malaysia, saying it would be investing $2 billion to set it up there.
Investing in Singapore’s technological infrastructure has reached $5 billion, according to Google.
