On Friday, a Russian company spokesman informed Reuters that Kraft Heinz (KHC.O) would sell its Russian infant food business to Chernogolovka.

After Coca-Cola (KO.N) and Pepsi (PEP.O) left Russia, Chernogolovka snapped up Kellogg Co.’s (K.N) local business and aimed to dominate the soft drinks industry.

Chernogolovka said the sale includes two factories and the “Umnitsa” and “Sami s usami” brands.

Kraft Heinz assesses the deal’s worth at 2.5–3 billion roubles ($32.4–38.9 million), but the government has not approved the assessment, Kommersant said on Thursday, citing sources.

Kraft Heinz was unavailable for comment.

Chernogolovka said the acquisition requires regulatory clearance.
