Britain sanctioned two Myanmarese and a firm for supplying junta weaponry on Monday.

Britain’s foreign ministry sanctioned a Myanmar air force aviation fuel supplier and a firm director that trades prohibited products and technologies.

No travel or UK financial transactions.

“The UK condemns the military’s growing brutal offensive against the Burmese people,” stated Indo-Pacific minister Anne-Marie Trevelyan.

“The UK will work closely with friends to hold the military dictatorship responsible and assist Burmese people fight for democracy and freedom.”

The US and its allies, including Britain, banned Myanmar’s second military takeover anniversary festivities in February.
