The Polish agricultural minister told public radio station PR1 that Poland and Ukraine would resume talks early on Tuesday to reopen food and grain transit.

On Monday, the two nations discussed central-eastern European prohibitions to protect farmers from cheaper Ukrainian grain.

After Russia invaded Ukraine, logistical bottlenecks trapped enormous amounts of Ukrainian grain in Central Europe.

“We talked long yesterday. We’re also meeting today.”These are technical talks to solve this transit to Europe,” he said.
