On Tuesday, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu claimed the West was increasing equipment and arms shipments to Kyiv before a “large-scale” Ukrainian offensive and that Moscow would target any supply channels.
On state television, Shoigu said Russia was inflicting “effective fire damage on the enemy” and that Western weapons would not affect Moscow’s “special military operation” in Ukraine.
After Ukraine’s largest drone attack on Moscow, Shoigu’s ministry stated that Russian air defenses had shot down all eight drones.
Kyiv launched a terrorist strike on Moscow this morning. Shoigu noted civilian targeting.
A presidential aide denied Kyiv’s involvement in Tuesday’s strike on Moscow but said Ukraine was enjoying watching and predicted more.
The 15-month battle has mostly been fought in Ukraine. Still, Russia has also suffered drone assaults, including one on the Kremlin fortress earlier this month that Moscow said was an attempt to kill President Vladimir Putin. Kyiv denied involvement.
Ukraine plans a “counter-offensive” with Western weapons to expel Russian occupants.
