In reaction to Iran’s death sentence for a German national, Germany has declared two Iranian embassy staff members personae non gratae and ordered them to leave the country, according to a statement from the foreign office on Wednesday.

Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated that Germany summoned Iran’s charge d’affaires and warned him that they “do not tolerate the huge violation of a German citizen’s rights.”

Appealable verdict.

On Wednesday, a foreign ministry official said the consulate was helping the dual national and contacting his family.

“We will give consular help as much as feasible. I’ve described Iran’s challenges “spokeswoman.
