Robbers are Chased Away by a Shopkeeper Brandishing a Vacuum Cleaner

Whenever the news is traversed with odd happenings from around the globe, it sure does take our minds off the awful incidents of calamities that take place regularly around the world.

One such strange albeit slightly comical incident took place recently, on the streets of Germany. A late-night convenience store was recently attempted to be robbed in Berlin’s district of Neukoelln.

However, the shop assistant who was cleaning the shop with a vacuum cleaner at the time was not in a merciful mood at all. The incident took place on the night of Tuesday and one of the robbers held a pistol and threatened to shoot if the assistant would not empty the cash register and comply with the thieves’ demands.

But the crooks were not expecting the 59 year-old shop assistant to charge towards them with a vacuum cleaner that was switched on. She aimed to attack the robbers with the hose attachment.

Even the Berlin police were shocked at the incident and how this stalwart woman defended herself and the store. The police gladly reported, “They then fled without the loot.”
