Senior leaders will share Pam Lifford’s responsibilities as the president of Warner Bros. Discovery’s consumer goods division, the company announced on Wednesday (WBD.O.).

Reporting to Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer Bruce Campbell, Robert Oberschelp, who now oversees Warner Bros. Discovery’s consumer goods in North America, will take over as head of worldwide consumer products.

Prescott Oberschelp will receive additional oversight for North American consumer products from Kevin Lewis, head of retail management for the Americas, and consumer products for Latin America.

The organization announced that it would appoint a new global head of franchise, which will expand the IP portfolio globally for all companies.

The executive leaving Lifford leads WBD’s global consumer products, themed entertainment, franchise development and management, and DC Comics businesses under Global Brands, Franchises, and Experiences (GBFE).

The corporation stated that the adjustments are effective as of Nov. 27.

The reorganization of Warner Bros. Discovery’s consumer goods division and the resignation of its leader are indicative of the evolving media and entertainment landscape. It showcases the business’s attempts to flourish and adjust in a setting where customer interaction and content consumption change drastically. The ultimate goal is to provide engaging experiences and content while optimizing income streams.
